Summery

Artificial Socio-Task Assistant Robot (ASTRO) is a Microsoft sponsored project and a successor of the Socially Aware Robot Assistant (SARA) project at Articulab CMU. SARA is a socially-aware dialog system aiming to achieve both a task goal and a social goal. She is capable of applying conversational strategies such as self-disclosure to build meaningful relationships with users.
